The Ashes Barns Wedding Video for Lindsay & Darren
The Ashes Barns, Leek Road, Endon was the venue for Lindsay and Darren’s Destination Wedding, you can view their highlight video above.
How did you meet?
We met in Vietnam while we were both working there at different schools. I was at a friends birthday party, and both of us ended up at a bar where the 'Pho fighters' were playing. He offered to be a photographer for our party and eventually came over to speak to me only to spill beer on my foot (and then wiped it off!)
Why did you want your wedding filmed?
We are having a half USA/UK wedding with friends from all over the world. Every single guest has travelled to be there, from a few hours to many thousands of miles.
A few Vietnamese and Filipino touches as we've lived together in both places.
They have highland cows at the venue- it was part of why we fell in love with the place as, my moms side of the family is Scottish and I spent a lot of my childhood holidays in the highlands or Hebrides.
What part of the day are you looking forward to the most?
Lindsay says- getting ready with our grooms/bridal party. Vows. Dinner!
Darren says he's most looking forward to when the offical stuff is done and he can relax!
The bridal party got ready at the venue. Grooms party got ready at the cottage on site.
We're pretty relaxed people but not particularly comfortable in front of a camera! We're really hoping that the video will capture parts of the day we wont see ourselves as well as recording moments we want to rewitness to refresh our memories after the excitement of the day has worn off!
